New Executive Director

We are pleased to announce the recruitment of  Mr Stian Olsen who with immediate effect will take up the responsibilities as our new Executive Director in defining and covering the interests of BNCC going forward. His background as an entrepreneur and organizer of events together combined with international training and education were all significant factors in making the final decision. He resides now in Brazil and will settle down in Norway during the next few months with his family. He is also fluent in Norwegian, English and Portuguese.

Mr Aage Thoen, chairman states :  “We are very excited to welcome Mr Olsen and feel confident that Stian with his background and personality will significantly contribute to deliver timely and effectively on our ambitions, to be more relevant to all our members, developing trade opportunities and our consultancy services for SMBs and Start-Up businesses in Norway and Brazil.  This year will be of special importance to the chamber in marking the 200 years independence of Brazil which will be a focus of the Chamber for this year as well”.

Mr Stian Olsen says:   I’m very excited to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the BNCC, to bring energy and creativity to the organisation and lift its ambitions to new summits.  My current work on new start-ups here in Brazil,  brand development and digital marketing, will also bring a lot of positive synergy to future  BNCC projects.

The BNCC team is now ready to support our missions further  and to move forward with speed and energy. We encourage all our members to communicate with us and raise their voices so that we jointly can grow and improve further. Finally we would like to announce our next web meeting on April 28th covering Brazil – Norway Aquaculture further information and invites will follow.
