Innovation Norway has been successfully supporting multi-client projects, which resulted in groups of companies visiting Brazil to follow an agenda of meetings. This framework has been optimal to maximize the receptiveness of Brazilian key contacts and organizations towards Norwegian companies.
From this perspective, we would like to inform that between 31st October – 10th November 2017, Innovation Norway partnering with Norwegian Embassy and Norwegian General Consulate of Rio de Janeiro are organizing the first Norwegian-Brazilian Business and Science Week. The week of events will take place in 4 cities (Belém, Brasília, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo). The agenda will focus on 4 major themes: energy, ocean economy, bioeconomy & biodiversity and technology. The idea is to create an umbrella for several events that seek to emphasize and strengthen successful cooperation on various levels between both countries.

Including the main themes of the seminars, the occasion aspire to be a high-level meeting place where government institutions, business and research communities are able to share their experiences and establish a dialogue on their needs and struggles. On the side of government institutions, it will be an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between both countries. For the industry, it will allow to increase partnerships and develop the supply chain together with Brazilian and Norwegian high-level stakeholders, get to know the operations and future prospects. Lastly, the research community will be able to showcase their knowledge and expertise and, furthermore, establish higher bilateral cooperation.
