In addition to the Norwegian companies, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was represented by Minister Counsellor Jan Dybfest. BNCC was represented by its Board member Celma R. Hellebust and NBCC in Rio by its Board member Ronaldo C. Veirano and Johnar Olsen. NBCC São Paulo was represented by its Board member Juliana Meyers.
In the Parque Tecnológico the delegation was received by Dr. José Iram Mota Barboza, Operational Director, and Argus Rainieri, assistant of the Director.
The opening of the visit was made by Dr. José Iram Mota Barboza, Director of Business Development, who welcomed all participants on the behalf of Marco Antonio Raupp, General Director of Parque Tecnológico. Jan Dybfest, representative of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs did a speech on the behalf of the entire delegation. After these speeches, it was made the presentations of the Norwegian companies KONGSBERG and Eggs Design, which were followed by the presentation of Investe São Paulo made by Mauricio Fonseca, and the representative of the Municipality of São José dos Campos, Karin Lin made a speech introducing the region as well.
After the presentations, it was made match making between the Norwegian companies and Brazilian companies established in Parque Tecnológico as Airbus, SIATT, FT Sistemas and Fotosensores.
The visit was closed by a lunch in the Parque Tecnológico.
After lunch, the same delegation did visit Embraer in Sao José dos Campos. The delegation was received in Embraer by Leonardo Mercante, International Relations of Embraer.
In Embraer, KONGSBERG, Eggs Design and Norwegian Special Mission made a presentation of their products and capabilities to Embraer. Following the companies’ presentations, the entire delegation was invited to know facts about the company and the history of Embraer in a dynamic way, which started with a visit of Embraer’s museum. The museum presents the milestones of the company.
The highlight of the day was the plant tour offered by Embraer where all participants could see in the assembly line many of the planes which shall be flying all over the world, including one of the same model which shall be delivered to Widerøe in Norway.
The plant visited is very modern, organized and show how carefully are produced each of the products from Embraer.
