Aage Thoen has been with the Brazilian Norwegian chamber of commerce since 2005 and was elected chairman in 2019. Thoen has a 30 years career within banking, shipping and offshore. He holds BSBA and MBA degrees and is trained as a banker. Thoen held leading positions in DNC and Aker AS, and executive positions as President of the Lorentzen Skips Group and Star Reefers Inc, London.
Moreover, he also has elective board positions such as Chairman of Bank2 and NYK-STAR Pool Inc and member of the Boards of Privatbanken ASA, Ivaran Lines AS, DSND ASA and lastly past board member of the Norwegian Shipowners Association and currently Chair of Oslo Shipowners association.
Stian Olsen, is a Norwegian entrepreneur and businessman.
He has lived in Brazil for 12 years. Educated from the international conservatory Souza Lima/Berklee in São Paulo, he opened his own production company and event agency and has gained vast experience in producing different types of events, management and has represented some of Norways top artists in the Brazilian market. He is also a long time professional musician and can look back on major label record deals and worldwide touring.
In the latest years Stian has taken on more the role of an entrepreneur, and is strongly dedicated to ESG/SDG issues, with courses in sustainability from Columbia University and International Law and Human Rights from the University of Louvain. He has also worked closely with the Consulate in Rio and Music Norway on market research projects and has had involvement in projects with Innovation Norway and NBCC.
Stian has a strong focus on digital marketing and brand development, and he speaks Norwegian, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
