Aage Thoen has been with the Brazilian Norwegian chamber of commerce since 2005 and was elected chairman in 2019. Thoen has a 30 years career within banking, shipping and offshore. He holds BSBA and MBA degrees and is trained as a banker. Thoen held leading positions in DNC and Aker AS, and executive positions as President of the Lorentzen Skips Group and Star Reefers Inc, London.
Moreover, he also has elective board positions such as Chairman of Bank2 and NYK-STAR Pool Inc and member of the Boards of Privatbanken ASA, Ivaran Lines AS, DSND ASA and lastly past board member of the Norwegian Shipowners Association and currently Chair of Oslo Shipowners association.
Treasurer Ida Stuve
Ida Stuve was elected to the board in 2018 and serves as Treasurer. Ida is an Advisor in the Global Project Finance team in DNB's Large Corporates and International business area.
She has banking experience from both Norway and Brazil and has worked and studied in Latin America for over 4 years. In her current role in DNB she focuses on the power and renewable sector, with a strong focus on Latin American markets. Ida holds an MA Cum Laude in International Energy from Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po).
Executive Director Larissa Costa Slottet
Larissa Slottet is the management leader of BNCC. She works with the board to develop strategies aiming to promote the chamber’s mission and objectives. Larissa is the face of BNCC since 2013 and is responsible for overseeing all operations and activities, including forge and maintain relations of trust with members, partners, and external authorities.
Larissa has an academic background in business, international relations, and green growth, and a passion for intercultural relations and sustainability. Larissa speaks Portuguese, English, Norwegian, and Spanish and is at member’s disposition for any inquiry.
