BNCC joined forces with the University of Oslo in order to create arena for dialogue about possibilities of exchange studies in Brazil. On this event, Norwegian students had the opportunity of finding out more about these opportunities.
After a briefly presentation of BNCC, Culturas gave a speech about “The importance of Cross Cultural Trainig”.
SIU (Senter for Internasknonalisering av utdanning) spoke about “Why choose Brazil as place to study”. After presenting 7 good reasons that was also accessible how can SIU collaborate with the interest student. You can see this presentation here.
University of Oslo talked about their framework conditions for cooperation with Brazil in research and higher education. They mentioned among other important things that the areas with special potential for cooperation with Brazil are: Pretroleum; Renewable energy; Climate and the environment; Marine research; Bioeconomy/ food and Cultural/social issues. The presentation was divided in two parts: Cooperation with Brazil (see presentation here) and Student Exchange with Brazil (see presentation here).
Another member of BNCC and researcher at the Natural History Museum of UiO, Torskjell Leira briefly spoke about cooperation between BRC and University of Pará and an opportunity for students involved with research activities. See his presentation here.
