BNCC and NHO had the honor of receiving Innovation Norway and The Norwegian Research Council for an important presentation under a breakfast meeting this week.
Innovation Norway is working increasingly with technology intensive businesses and communities wanting enter in Brazil and The Norwegian Research Council has chosen Brazil as one of the main markets in its international strategy.
Joining forces with other organizations as their Brazilian counterparts FINEP and CNPq, an accompanying work plan has described potential forms of cooperation, including joint calls in research areas of common interest.
Initially, collaboration will target the petroleum sector and may involve both, research group and companies.
BNCC wants to help linking its members to science, technology and innovation. Both Innovation Norway and The Norwegian Research Council aims to improve the research activities and believe that this is vital to boosting the competitiveness of Norwegian trade and industry in Brazil.
We hope to engage so many of our members as possible in this cooperation between research and innovation institutions. Creating common platforms and arenas for dialogue and exchange is a first and important step.
